TLDR Finasteride is most linked to drug-induced erectile dysfunction.
This study analyzed 20,098 reports of drug-induced erectile dysfunction (ED) from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database, identifying 734 drugs across 74 classes associated with ED. Finasteride was found to have the highest reporting frequency and signal strength for ED. The study highlighted that compound preparations generally posed a higher risk for ED than single active ingredients. The findings provide valuable quantitative and comparative risk data for regulators and healthcare professionals managing drug-related ED risks.
