TLDR The dual-serum cosmetic system effectively improves hair loss in women.
The study evaluates the effectiveness of a dual-serum cosmetic system developed by KilgourMD in reducing female pattern hair loss (FPHL) in a predominantly menopausal-aged cohort. FPHL, a non-cicatricial form of alopecia, is influenced by hormonal imbalances during menopause, affecting hair density and texture. Traditional treatments like drugs and hair transplants have limitations, prompting the need for novel solutions. The study highlights the potential of topical serums containing patented ingredients like Redensyl, Capixyl, Procapil, and Anagain, which have shown promising results in promoting hair growth and scalp health, sometimes surpassing minoxidil. The trial underscores the importance of innovative formulations combining these ingredients with botanical extracts, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory molecules to effectively address hair loss in women.
