The study explores the effectiveness of wet cupping (Raktmokshan) combined with Rasayana Chikitsa, a traditional Ayurvedic therapy, in managing alopecia areata (Indralupt). The patient underwent three sessions of wet cupping therapy at seven-day intervals, along with internal Rasayan drugs for one month. Significant hair growth was observed after just one session, and two patches of hair loss were completely resolved by the end of the treatment. This case report suggests that Raktmokshan and Rasayan Chikitsa may be beneficial in treating alopecia areata by addressing the vitiated Rakta in hair follicles.
