TLDR Using a protocol with LH improves pregnancy rates in patients with low ovarian reserve.
The study evaluated the effectiveness of controlled ovarian stimulation protocols with and without LH in 68 patients with low ovarian reserve undergoing IVF. Group 1 (n=30) received a protocol with combined r-lFSH and r-lLH, while Group 2 (n=38) followed a standard protocol with higher doses of r-lFSH. Both groups had similar baseline characteristics, but Group 1 showed a slightly higher number of mature oocytes and a significantly higher clinical pregnancy rate (40.5% vs. 34.3%, p<0.05). The findings suggest that using a protocol with combined LH can improve clinical outcomes in patients with low ovarian reserve.
