Research on Efficacy of Nurturing Hair Products Evaluated by Dermoscopy Image Analysis Technology

    Zhiguo Jiang
TLDR Dermoscopy image analysis is a simple, effective way to evaluate hair growth and product efficacy.
The study evaluated the efficacy of nurturing hair products using dermoscopy image analysis technology on 58 patients with androgenetic alopecia. Participants were divided into an experimental group (32 cases) and a control group (22 cases). Over 12 weeks, changes in terminal hair numbers and density were measured. The experimental group showed an effective rate of 84.37%, while the control group had an effective rate of 86.36%. The results indicated significant efficacy of the product (P<0.01). The study concluded that dermoscopy image analysis was a noninvasive, objective, and simple method for evaluating hair growth and the efficacy of hair products.
