The study evaluated the efficacy of compound ginseng cicada decoction in managing atopic dermatitis (AD) in 60 patients with spleen deficiency and moisture type AD. Patients were divided into a research group, receiving the decoction, and a control group, receiving standard care. After 3 months, the research group showed significantly lower relapse rates, recurrence severity, itching, and improved quality of life compared to the control group, with no adverse events. The decoction effectively reduces AD recurrence and severity, improves patient quality of life, and is safe for widespread use.
