The study investigates the efficacy of Panchagavya Ghrita, an Ayurvedic treatment, combined with Amalakyadi Kashaya, in managing side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy in cancer patients. Conducted as a randomized, single-blind, three-arm study with 36 participants, it compares oral and enema administration of Panchagavya Ghrita against standard care. Results suggest that this Ayurvedic protocol may improve the quality of life for patients, offering a simple, safe, and cost-effective strategy. The findings support the potential for future trials to enhance cancer treatment outcomes through integrative approaches combining Ayurveda and conventional medicine.
