A Comparative Study to Evaluate the Efficacy of Prachanna Karma Followed by Chirabilva Lepa and Gunja Lepa in the Management of Indralupta with Special Reference to Alopecia Areata

This study evaluated the efficacy of two Ayurvedic treatments for alopecia areata (Indralupta) in 60 patients, divided into two groups. Group A received Prachanna followed by Chirabilwa lepa, while Group B received Prachanna followed by Gunja lepa. The results indicated that the treatment with Prachanna followed by Chirabilwa lepa showed significant improvement in managing alopecia areata compared to the treatment with Prachanna followed by Gunja lepa.
