TLDR The treatment improved hair density and scalp coverage in an elderly woman with hair loss.
This preprint details a case report of an elderly female patient with androgenetic alopecia treated using an integrative regenerative protocol. The treatment included microneedling, plant-derived exosomes, biomimetic growth factors, topical amino acids and B-complex vitamins, vacuotherapy, and systemic senomorphic supplementation. These interventions targeted mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, and chronic low-grade inflammation. The results showed significant improvements in hair density, follicular miniaturization, and scalp coverage, highlighting the importance of addressing the follicular microenvironment and cellular senescence in managing androgenetic alopecia non-pharmacologically.
