TLDR The treatment improved hair density and condition without side effects.
The case study evaluated the effectiveness of microneedle mesotherapy combined with saw palmetto fruit extract supplementation in treating female androgenetic alopecia in a 38-year-old woman. Over a series of ten treatments, the therapy utilized a preparation containing amino acids, B vitamins, and zinc. Results showed increased hair density in the parting and receding hairline areas, reduced scalp oiliness, and improved hair structure, with no adverse effects reported. The study concluded that the treatment led to scalp regeneration and improved hair condition due to growth factors induced by microneedling.
