    Exosomes are nanosized extracellular vesicles that play a crucial role in intercellular communication and have significant potential in diagnostic and therapeutic applications, particularly in dermatology and regenerative medicine. They are produced through the endosomal pathway and carry a variety of bioactive molecules that reflect the state of their parent cells. Key sources of exosomes include mesenchymal stem cells, adipose-derived stem cells, and keratinocytes. Advances in isolation techniques have enhanced their characterization and application in areas such as wound healing, hair regeneration, and skin rejuvenation. Despite their promising potential and favorable safety profile, challenges such as standardization, large-scale production, and regulatory approval need to be addressed for their widespread clinical use.
