This study conducted at Mugdha Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh, involved 60 patients with clinically diagnosed scalp diseases, evenly split between males and females, aged 1 to 60 years. The research identified several factors associated with the prevalence of scalp diseases, including age, sex, behavior, family history, occupation, education level, socio-economic condition, hygiene, associated systemic diseases, and hair grooming practices. These findings suggest that both demographic and lifestyle factors play a significant role in the occurrence of scalp diseases.
