TLDR Intralesional betamethasone and oral hydroxychloroquine improved hair loss in a woman with frontal fibrosing alopecia.
A 36-year-old woman with progressive frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA), unresponsive to conventional treatments, showed significant improvement after six months of combined intralesional betamethasone injections and oral hydroxychloroquine. The treatment stabilized hairline recession and partially regrew eyebrows, suggesting that this combination therapy may effectively control disease progression in FFA.
