TLDR Concentrated growth factors can effectively treat hair loss caused by filler injections.
A 29-year-old female developed a 6×4 cm alopecic patch in the right temporal region following a hyaluronic acid filler injection, which did not improve with standard hyaluronidase treatment. Instead, she received four injections of concentrated growth factors (CGF), leading to significant hair regrowth over a ten-month follow-up period. This case indicates that CGF monotherapy may be an effective alternative treatment for filler-induced alopecia.
