The study investigated the effectiveness and safety of finasteride in treating male chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS). It involved a sample size of 100 men diagnosed with CPPS. The results indicated that finasteride was effective in reducing symptoms associated with CPPS, with a significant number of participants reporting improvement in pain and urinary symptoms. The study also found that finasteride was generally well-tolerated, with few adverse effects reported. These findings suggested that finasteride could be a viable treatment option for men suffering from CPPS.
