The study examines acute thallium poisoning, highlighting its forensic medical characteristics in cases of intentional homicide and accidental overdose. Analyzing three cases from Ukraine, the study identifies symptoms such as general weakness, neurological issues, alopecia, and multiple organ failure. Thallium was detected in biological samples and clothing, with two cases resulting in death. The findings underscore the high toxicity of thallium compounds, which can cause severe health issues and fatalities when ingested in large doses.
