The study formulated and evaluated an anti-pollution polyherbal shampoo enriched with pomegranate peel extract, known for its antioxidant and anti-ageing properties. The shampoo also included activated charcoal for deep cleansing, along with other natural ingredients. It was tested for various parameters such as physical appearance, pH, viscosity, and cleansing action. The results indicated that the shampoo had good cleansing ability, stable foam, suitable viscosity, and a scalp-friendly pH, with no observed irritation. The study concludes that this shampoo is a safe and effective herbal alternative to synthetic shampoos for protecting against pollution-related hair damage.
