TLDR The herbal hair serum gel effectively improves scalp health and promotes hair growth.
The study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal hair serum gel designed to improve scalp health, strengthen hair follicles, and promote hair growth. The serum is made from natural ingredients such as olive oil, peppermint oil, vitamin E, hibiscus flowers and leaves, Amla powder, and curry leaves. These components are chosen for their beneficial properties, including amino acids from hibiscus for keratin building, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects from Amla, and antioxidants from curry leaves. The serum uses flaxseed mucilage as a natural gel base and cold-pressed coconut oil as a lipid carrier, aiming to provide a lightweight, non-greasy product suitable for daily use.
