Formulation And Evaluation Of Poly-Herbal Medicated Baby Shampoo

The study formulated and evaluated a poly-herbal medicated baby shampoo using natural ingredients like Amla, Soapnut, Shikakai, and others, chosen for their cleansing and nourishing properties. The shampoo was assessed for various physicochemical parameters and demonstrated good cleansing action, satisfactory foam, acceptable pH, and excellent conditioning properties. It was found to be mild, safe, and suitable for infants' sensitive scalps and hair. The study concludes that this natural shampoo is an effective alternative to synthetic options, promoting healthy hair growth and maintaining scalp health with minimal irritation risk.
