Formulation and Evaluation of Polyherbal Powder Shampoo

The study formulated and evaluated a polyherbal powder shampoo using natural ingredients like Shikakai, Neem, Hibiscus, and others, known for their cleansing, anti-dandruff, conditioning, and hair growth-promoting properties. The shampoo was assessed for various properties, including organoleptic characteristics, pH, washability, and stability. Phytochemical screening confirmed the presence of beneficial compounds such as alkaloids and flavonoids. The evaluation showed that the formulation had good flow properties, satisfactory foaming ability, and caused no skin or eye irritation, making it suitable for regular use. The study concluded that this polyherbal powder shampoo is a safe and effective natural alternative to synthetic shampoos for healthy hair care.
