Formulation And Physical Test Of Hair Tonic With Mangosteen Peel Extract (Garcinia Mangostana L.)

The study formulated a Hair Tonic using mangosteen peel extract, known for its antioxidant properties beneficial for hair health. Four formulations were created and evaluated through qualitative and quantitative analyses, including organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, and stability tests. The results showed that all formulations had suitable physical characteristics, with no significant color differences and stable homogeneity. The pH and viscosity remained within standard limits, indicating that the Hair Tonic formulations are suitable for use and meet the necessary requirements.
