TLDR Ginger and celery extracts did not significantly improve hair growth in rats.
This study on 25 Wistar rats evaluated the effects of ginger and celery extracts on hair growth compared to a control and minoxidil treatment. Administered at 20 mg/ml, the extracts did not significantly enhance hair growth metrics or cause notable skin inflammation. Although the ginger extract group had the highest hair follicle density, the overall impact was not significant. The study suggests further research with varying dosages and compounds is needed.
