TLDR Rabbits with mange recovered after ivermectin treatment.
A study involving 48 rabbits with clinical signs of mange, such as alopecia and skin lesions, identified various mites, including Sarcoptes scabiei and Psoroptes cuniculi, as the cause. Haematological analysis showed significant decreases in haemoglobin, PCV, and RBC count, and an increase in TLC count, while serum analysis indicated elevated ALT and AST levels. Treatment with ivermectin and proper management led to recovery from mange in the affected rabbits.
