The Growth Level of Hair Follicles and Hairs in Stress-Induced Mice of Tremella Fuciformis Berk

The study investigated the effects of stress and Tremella fuciformis Berk (Tf AE) on hair follicles and hair condition in mice. Mice were subjected to stress for 2 months and then observed until they reached an age equivalent to 60 years in humans. Results showed that stress experienced at a young age negatively impacted hair follicle density, size, and hair length and thickness in older age. However, the intake of Tf AE during stress significantly mitigated these negative effects, preserving hair follicle density, size, and hair characteristics. The study concluded that stress had long-term negative effects on hair, but Tf AE provided a protective effect against these changes.
