The study investigates the efficacy of a polyherbal hair tonic made from Ficus religiosa and Abrus precatorious, which are traditionally used for various medicinal purposes. The research demonstrated that the polyherbal formulation significantly promotes hair growth in Male Wistar rats, showing a more substantial effect than the standard drug Minoxidil. Additionally, the extracts from these plants exhibit antibacterial activity comparable to industry standards. The primary components identified in the extracts include flavonoids, alkaloid compounds, carbohydrates, and tannins, supporting their potential use in treating alopecia.
