Formulation And Evaluation Of An Antidandruff Shampoo Based On Herbal Ingredients

    The study developed and evaluated an antidandruff shampoo using herbal ingredients like neem, aloe vera, hibiscus, reetha, and tea tree oil, which are known for their antifungal and conditioning properties. The shampoo was tested for various parameters such as pH, viscosity, and foamability, showing satisfactory cleansing action, good foaming ability, and excellent stability without causing scalp irritation. The herbal formulation effectively addressed dandruff while improving hair conditioning, suggesting it as a safe, effective, and economical alternative to conventional synthetic shampoos for maintaining a healthy scalp and hair.
