Preparation and Evaluation of Herbal Hair Cream in the Treatment of Alopecia Using Jamalgota, Neem Oil, Amla, Hibiscus Oil, and Aloe Vera

The study formulated and evaluated a herbal hair cream for treating alopecia using ingredients like Jamalgota, Neem oil, Amla, Hibiscus oil, and Aloe vera, known for their hair growth-promoting and scalp nourishing properties. Three batches (B1–B3) were prepared, varying excipient concentrations while keeping active ingredients constant. Evaluations included organoleptic properties, physicochemical parameters, microbiological safety, and stability. All batches were free from E. coli and fungal contamination, and were non-irritating. Batch 3 showed the best results in terms of texture, pH, spreadability, and stability. The study concluded that the herbal hair cream is a safe, natural, and effective alternative for alopecia treatment and promoting healthy hair growth.
