TLDR The herbal hair mask effectively controls oil and dandruff.
The study focuses on developing a polyherbal hair mask for oily and dandruff-prone scalps, utilizing ingredients like neem, tulsi, fenugreek, amla, multani mitti, aloe vera, and tea tree oil. The mask aims to offer a natural alternative to chemical antifungal treatments by controlling sebum production and inhibiting Malassezia species. The formulation was evaluated for its pH, spreadability, washability, stability, and antifungal activity. The literature supports the efficacy of the selected herbs, and the expected results suggest that the mask effectively controls sebum, inhibits fungal growth, and improves scalp health, making it a promising natural anti-dandruff treatment.
