TLDR Different types of fat tissue play important roles in metabolism, heat production, and healing.
The review highlights the morphofunctional properties of white, brown, and beige adipose tissues, emphasizing their roles in metabolic syndrome, thermogenesis, and physical adaptation. It underscores the need for specialized research on the morphofunctional changes of these tissues in repair processes. Notably, the study of adiponectins as growth factors reveals new insights into epithelial stem cell activity, hair growth cycle progression, wound healing, and hematopoiesis regulation. This research direction promises to enhance understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying metabolic syndrome.
