Role of Individualized Homeopathic Medicine in Alopecia Areata: A Case Study

This case study explores the potential of individualized homoeopathic treatment for alopecia areata, focusing on a 7-year-old girl with 60% scalp involvement. Conventional treatments often lead to recurrence, but this approach used Phosphorus 1M based on the child's symptoms and emotional background. Over 18 months, the treatment resulted in a 90% regrowth of hair, reduced hair fall, and improvements in associated conditions like constipation and allergic rhinitis. The study suggests that homoeopathy may effectively manage alopecia areata by addressing both constitutional and psychosomatic factors, though further research is needed to confirm its efficacy.
