TLDR Individualized homeopathic treatments can help improve alopecia areata.
This case series investigates the effects of individualized homeopathic treatment on alopecia areata (AA), an autoimmune condition causing patchy hair loss. The study involved 5 patients, each receiving different homeopathic remedies based on their symptoms and miasmatic analysis. Two patients showed improvement with Phosphorus, while Natrium muriaticum and Typhoidinum were effective for one patient each. Another patient improved with Tuberculinum after Natrium muriaticum failed. Clinical assessments showed symptom reduction and new hair growth, suggesting that individualized homeopathic treatments can be effective for AA. The Modified Naranjo Criteria for Homeopathy (MONARCH) was used to evaluate the causal relationship between the treatments and outcomes.
