Restoring Pigment: Individualized Homeopathic Treatment of Vitiligo Assessed by Naranjo Criteria

This study presents a case of vitiligo vulgaris treated with individualized homeopathic treatment, specifically using Silicea, at Dr. B.R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College. The patient's progress was monitored using serial photographs and the Vitiligo Area Severity Index (VASI), which showed a significant decrease in depigmentation from a score of 0.875 to 0.175. The Modified Naranjo Criteria scored 10 out of 13, indicating a likely causal link between the treatment and the observed improvement. This case suggests that individualized homeopathic treatment may effectively contribute to clinical improvement in vitiligo.
