The International Symposium on Phytochemicals in Medicine and Food (ISPMF2015) was held in Shanghai, China, from June 26-29, 2015, marking the first joint meeting between the Phytochemical Society of Europe and the Phytochemical Society of Asia. The event attracted over 270 scientists from 48 countries, who shared their research on phytochemistry, phytomedicine, and phytoneering. The symposium featured 16 sessions, including 12 plenary lectures, 20 invited talks, 55 short oral presentations, and over 130 posters, facilitating the exchange of the latest findings in the field of phytochemicals for food and human health.
