TLDR The luliconazole shampoo effectively reduces symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis and is well-tolerated.
The study assessed the effectiveness and safety of a luliconazole combination shampoo for treating seborrheic dermatitis in 45 adults over 12 weeks. Results showed significant reductions in scalp scaling (78.6%), erythema (92.4%), and itching (94.7%) by the end of the study. The shampoo, which includes luliconazole, salicylic acid, and zinc pyrithione, was well-tolerated with no adverse effects or recurrences reported. The study concluded that the shampoo is an effective and safe treatment option for seborrheic dermatitis, though its findings are limited by the small sample size and absence of a control group.
