The document presents three studies. The first study, conducted in Telangana, assessed the validity of a two-staged screening method for identifying youth at high risk for psychosis. It involved 2,025 participants and found that the Prime Screen Revised (PS-R) had high sensitivity (98.41%) and specificity (90.74%) for predicting psychosis transition, with a hazard ratio of 11.4. The second study examined the association between valproate levels, biotinidase activity, and hair loss in 150 participants, finding a significant link between valproate use and hair loss, with 24% of the study group experiencing hair loss compared to 2.66% in the control group. The third study evaluated the Indian Disability Evaluation and Assessment Scale (IDEAS) for assessing disability in common mental disorders, finding strong concurrent validity with the Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS) among 220 patients.
