TLDR Marigold flower extract significantly promotes hair growth in male rabbits.
The study investigated the hair growth-promoting effects of ethanol extracts from Marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta L.) on 30 male rabbits. The extract contains antioxidant compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and saponins, which contribute to hair growth. The research used different concentrations (5%, 10%, and 20%) of the extract and measured hair length on days 7, 14, and 21, and hair density on day 21. Results showed that the 20% concentration significantly increased both hair length and density (p<0.05), indicating that Marigold flower extract effectively promotes hair growth in male rabbits.

CosmeRNA, a new hair loss treatment, is expected to release soon and may become part of the "big three" treatments alongside finasteride and minoxidil. It works differently from finasteride by targeting androgen receptors in hair follicles, potentially offering fewer side effects.
