The review emphasizes the importance of the paracrine function of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in tissue regeneration and repair, highlighting their ability to release bioactive substances influenced by the microenvironment and biological behavior. These substances, part of the MSC secretome, are crucial for tissue repair, immunomodulation, and angiogenesis, and have potential therapeutic applications in diseases like androgenetic alopecia. The effectiveness of the secretome can be altered by factors such as hypoxia and inflammatory cytokines. Understanding and manipulating these influences can enhance MSCs' therapeutic effects, offering new research and clinical therapy opportunities. Further research is needed to optimize preconditioning strategies and ensure clinical safety.
