TLDR This treatment effectively reduces dark circles by improving volume and skin quality.
The study investigates the effectiveness of combined supraperiosteal microfat grafting and intradermal nanofat for treating periorbital melanosis (dark circles) in 36 patients aged 20 to 40. The procedure, performed under local anesthesia, aims to improve both volume deficiency and skin quality, leveraging the regenerative properties of adipose-derived stem cells. Results showed high satisfaction, with 77% of patients very satisfied and 17% satisfied, and minimal complications such as minor bruising and edema. Despite limitations like its case series design and lack of standardized procedures, the study provides valuable insights into using nanofat for dark circles, offering a promising solution with long-lasting results.
