Microneedling Radiofrequency in Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetics

Microneedling radiofrequency (MRF) is an innovative technique in cosmetic dermatology that combines microneedling with radiofrequency to stimulate collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture and tone. It effectively treats acne scars, wrinkles, skin laxity, and conditions like acne vulgaris and androgenic alopecia. MRF is suitable for various skin types, with optimal results achieved through 3–5 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. The integration of MRF with treatments like platelet-rich plasma enhances outcomes, though further research is needed to fully assess its effectiveness.
