TLDR Milia en plaque can be caused by skin damage, tumors, or external factors.

The study highlighted that follicle-damaging dermatoses, tumors, and external agents could lead to this clinical pattern. The authors outlined the clinical and histological features necessary for an accurate diagnosis of milia en plaque.
