It reviews various forms of alopecia, including androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata, cicatricial alopecia, and telogen effluvium. Current treatments such as topical and systemic pharmacotherapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, low-level laser therapy, stem cell therapy, Janus kinase inhibitors, and hair transplantation are analyzed. The article emphasizes the importance of individualized treatment plans, combination therapies, and regenerative approaches to enhance hair regrowth and reduce side effects. Advances in molecular medicine and targeted therapies are highlighted as promising for more effective and personalized management of alopecia.
