Recent advances in understanding and managing alopecia have led to modern therapeutic approaches that include topical and systemic pharmacotherapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, low-level laser therapy, stem cell therapy, Janus kinase inhibitors, hair transplantation, and emerging biologic treatments. These strategies focus on individualized treatment plans and combination therapies to enhance hair regrowth and reduce adverse effects. The review highlights the importance of regenerative approaches and the potential of molecular medicine and targeted therapies to provide more effective and personalized management of alopecia.
