A young male black capuchin monkey rescued from illegal captivity in Santa Catarina, Brazil, was treated for multiparasitism, exhibiting symptoms like dehydration, thinness, skin lesions, alopecia, and pruritus. Laboratory tests revealed three endoparasites and ectoparasites, and treatment included albendazole and fipronil. This case highlights the public health risks of illegal wildlife possession and emphasizes the need for biodiversity conservation and veterinary care.
