TLDR Careful technique and planning lead to successful, natural-looking eyebrow transplants.
A study conducted at Bolan Medical Complex evaluated the outcomes of eyebrow transplantation in 40 patients with eyebrow loss, focusing on achieving natural aesthetics despite challenges like poor donor density and hair angle discrepancies. Using FUE, ultra-fine blades, and careful recipient site design, the study found a high mean satisfaction score of 4.3 and significant improvements in appearance, with 77.5% of patients rated as "much improved" or "very much improved" on the GAIS. The FACE-Q scale indicated high psychosocial satisfaction, and a low complication rate of 7.5% was observed. The study concluded that meticulous technique and aesthetic planning, including angled implantation and careful follicle selection, are crucial for successful outcomes in eyebrow transplantation.
