Development and Evaluation of Natural Shampoo Powder with Antidandruff and Antifungal Activity

The study developed a natural polyherbal shampoo powder with anti-dandruff and antifungal properties using ingredients like shikakai, reetha, amla, neem, and others known for their cleansing and hair growth benefits. The formulation process involved drying, grinding, sieving, and blending these herbs. Evaluations showed the shampoo had good foaming capacity, acceptable pH, easy washability, stability, and no skin irritation. It demonstrated promising anti-dandruff and antifungal activity, suggesting it as a safe, economical, and eco-friendly alternative to synthetic shampoos.
