Formulation And Evaluation Of A Natural Shampoo: A Sustainable Approach To Hair Cleansing

This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a natural shampoo using ingredients like curcumin, flaxseed oil, and lavender oil, with an emphasis on sustainability and hair cleansing efficacy. The shampoo demonstrated excellent lathering, washing, and conditioning properties. It was found that shampoos with higher solid content were more effective at removing dirt and oil, while those with lower viscosity were easier to apply and rinse. The study highlights the importance of dirt dispersion in the cleansing efficacy of herbal shampoos and suggests that further refinement is needed to enhance the shampoo's overall quality and effectiveness.
