    Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN), derived from the DNA fragments of salmon sperm cells, shows potential as an anti-aging agent by improving skin quality and promoting regeneration. It works by activating A2A receptors, which inhibit the NF-kB and MAPK signaling pathways, reducing proinflammatory cytokines and enhancing anti-inflammatory cytokines. PDRN also prevents collagen degradation by inhibiting MMP-1 and elastase expression and reduces melanin synthesis by suppressing melanogenic gene expression and tyrosinase activity. These actions collectively contribute to slowing down the skin aging process.
