TLDR This method effectively reconstructs scarred penopubic junctions after surgery.
The article detailed a case involving a 27-year-old male who experienced severe scarring and contraction at the penopubic junction following a penis lengthening procedure, resulting in a short penis and high hanging scrotum. To address this, the authors used a pedicled superficial circumflex iliac artery perforator flap to repair a 4 x 3 cm defect at the junction. They developed a hybrid technique combining a proximal-to-distally flap elevation approach with a pedicle elongation strategy to safely and effectively harvest the flap. The study concluded that this method could be an effective alternative for reconstructing postoperative scar traction at the penopubic junction.

Microneedling can promote hair growth, but there is uncertainty about the best practices, including needle length, device, and session frequency. Users discuss using needle lengths between 0.5mm and 1.5mm, with some experiencing pinpoint bleeding, and emphasize the need for more reliable resources and guidelines.
