Polikistik Over Sendromlu Adölesanlarda Serum Ürokortin 2, Ürokortin 3 ve Antimüllerian Hormon Düzeyleri

The study examined serum levels of urocortin 2, urocortin 3, and Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) in 37 adolescents with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) compared to 39 healthy controls. It found no significant differences in the levels of these hormones between the two groups, nor any correlation between hirsutism severity and hormone levels. Despite higher rates of obesity, acne, alopecia, and hirsutism in the PCOS group, the study concluded that there was no relationship between the hormone levels and PCOS, indicating the need for further research.
