Postoperative pressure-induced alopecia is a rare but preventable complication associated with prolonged surgeries. This case report describes a patient who experienced a 3 × 4 cm area of hair loss on the occiput one month after a lengthy operation. The report emphasizes the importance of primary prevention to minimize patient distress and highlights the need for awareness and preventive measures during surgery to avoid such complications.
